Jewish Apple Cake

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cups oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 apples sliced thin and 1/2 cup cinnamon and sugar

 

Directions: Add sugar to oil and beat, add eggs one at a time, add vanilla.  Combine

flour, baking powder, salt and milk.  Pour 1/2 batter into ungreased pan.  Put layer of sliced apples over batter.  Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.  Add remainder of batter.

  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
