Warm Turtle Cake 

  • 1 Box Swiss Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk & 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 14oz. pkg. caramels
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Blend together cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and melted butter on medium speed for 2 minutes.  Pour half of mixture into a greased 11"x 9" cake pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.  Melt 1/2 cup evaporated milk and caramels in microwave ( about 1 minute) Drizzle melted mixture over cake.   Sprinkle pecan pieces and chocolate chips over caramel mixture.  Use a wet knife to spread the remaining cake mixture over the pecan and chocolate chips.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
